What is Data Banking?

System Admin

Last Update 2 years ago

Data banking allows customers to retain their un-used data and carry it forward into the next month, giving you more data to use than just the allocated quota.

Special Conditions:

  1. Unused data can be banked up a maximum of 200GB.
  2. If a customer is on a higher inclusion plan (eg: 30GB) and they downgrade to a smaller plan (eg: 10GB), they will forfeit the value banked.
  3. If a service is suspended, it will retain it’s banked data, but it will not accumulate more data each month it remains suspended.
  4. If a customer changes plan to a plan that is not eligible for data banking (including our forthcoming Data Pooling plans), the included data will be forfeited.
  5. If a service ports away or is terminated in error, all data is forfeited, customer will need to start accumulating data again from zero.
